Electric Motors

SAI produces both AC and DC, brush and brushless motors. Motors come fully enclosed or frameless depending on customer requirements.

AC Induction Motors

SAI produces a wide range of AC induction electric motors with voltage ratings of 5-480VAC. Output power ranges from 1/1000 to 40 HP with frequency of 25-2000 Hz. We offer motors that are inverter driven, Fan Cooled, explosion proof, and can include gear heads and braking systems.

Common applications are actuators, pumps, power drive units, gun feeders, seat actuators and environmental cooling. Our motors can be found on many commercial transport aircraft, regional jets, business jets and military aircraft and vehicles.
